TAXIMA-Customer Care training
Through a MoU with INATUR implemented customer care training for the Taxi Association with the objective of improving the quality of service delivery by taxi drivers in the country. This training is being rolled out to six provinces of the country with the aim of providing the tourists with the same experience of quality of service delivery expected internationally. Initially 25 taxi drivers from Maputo have been trained and have been accepted to offer services to the cruises that use the Maputo harbour.
Training of trainers in Housekeeping and Reception –ITC/INATUR
This programme is targeted at training staff of several hotels in the Province of Maputo who are not only able to transmit their knowledge and experiences to the remaining members of the staff but also continue their training regularly in the workplace.
Training Provider for the TFCAs - March 2012- August 2012
Advantage Consulting was selected and awarded through an international tender for the consultancy as Training Provider of the Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs) of the Ministry of Tourism. This consultancy will involve training in different areas of Hospitality and Tourism and will have as beneficiaries in the first phase, members of Community Associations of Maputo Special Reserve, Limpopo National Park, National Park Banhine, Zinave National Park and Chimanimani National Reserve.
Tour Guide Training PACDE – Project to Support Private Sector Competitiveness and Development (PACDE) November 2012-Current.
We are currently training Tour Guides in the Province of Inhambane, where we aiming to increase the service levels of the Guided experience for the Tourists .This is a training that will directly target the cruises that shore in the province, but also cover the different itineraries from Parks and Reserves, National Heritages to the pristine beaches of the province.
